Chocolate Bread Recipe

Hey guys, how you doing? Gaby here. Today we’re making up this. It’s a chocolate bread or a chocolate loaf cake. If you’ve enjoyed making loaf cakes, you might also like our easy moist banana bread recipe. If you’ve been looking for the perfect chocolate bread recipe, this one is a must-try. Made it up the other day and I’ll tell you it was super yummy. I just can’t get enough of it. So let me show you how to do it.

Ingredients
- 113 grams which is about a stick of butter
- a cup and a half of sugar
- two eggs
- A teaspoon of vanilla extract
- three quarters of a cup of milk and this is just 2% milk nothing special
- a cup and a quarter of all-purpose flour
- half a teaspoon of baking powder
- half a cup of cocoa
- a pinch of salt
- a few chocolate chips

Preparation
So we’re going to get started here by creaming the butter and to do this I’m going to combine 113 grams which is about a stick of butter along with a cup and a half of sugar. Grab up our electric mixer and get them a beat. You want to make sure your butter is at room temperature too. Until you get a mixture something like this and if it’s a bit crumbly that’s fine.
Adding Eggs, Vanilla, and Milk
Now crack in two eggs. A teaspoon of one of my all-time favorites vanilla extract and three quarters of a cup of milk and this is just 2% milk nothing special. Once again grab up our electric mixer and give it a good beat. Until you get a mixture something like this it might be a little bit watery but that’s fine.
Combining Dry Ingredients
After that we’re going to sift in a cup and a quarter of all-purpose flour, half a teaspoon of baking powder, half a cup of cocoa to give it that chocolatey flavor and a pinch of salt to bring out the flavors. So now we’re just going to fold this together until it’s really nicely combined. Now this takes a bit of time but it does come together.
Baking
Okay now we’re going to go ahead and add our mixture to a loaf pan. I’ve gone ahead and sprayed with some baking spray and put a bit of parchment paper in the bottom. You want this about three quarters full. I bet this is going to be so good.
Then sprinkle a few chocolate chips over the top just to make it super duper chocolatey. Yum.
And into a 350 degree preheated oven for about 60 to 70 minutes.
After about 65 minutes we’re just going to try this with our toothpick and voila it comes out clean so it’s done. So like I said this is about 65 minutes it depends on your oven. Just keep an eye on it.
So now we’re just going to let this cool completely.

Serving & Closing Thoughts
Now the bread has cooled completely. We’re just going to kind of go around the edges with a sharp knife. Okay now the moment of truth. A little tappy. And how do you like that? Our chocolate bread. Okay let’s go ahead and cut into this.
So there you have it guys our chocolate bread. I bet you this is going to be so good. This is really good guys. It’s light, airy, chocolatey. I can see it’s served up with some easy two-ingredient chocolate ganache recipe, some icing, maybe on a plate with some vanilla ice cream or something like that. Really tasty.
