  3. I’m going to stir this onion in here for a few minutes over the evening until starts to start translucent and soften up.

  5. I’m going to stir that around and I’ll let that heat through quick.
  6. I’m going to add a half a couple of beef broth.
  7. Stir that some mixed together.
  8. I’m also going to add a couple of heavy cream.
  9. I’m just going to pull a little bit of water and then make it a full cup.
  10. I have my heat on medium.
  11. I’m going to add in a teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
  12. A half a teaspoon of salt.
  13. And a quarter of a teaspoon of black pepper.
  14. I’m going to stir that all together.
  15. I’m going to add in a half a cup of greater Parmesan cheese.
  16. Give that a stir to get everything combined.
  17. I have some leftover linguini from the other night’s video. If you enjoy a classic pasta dish, try our flavorful homemade spaghetti marinara recipe.
  18. I’m going to put that in there.
  19. I’m going to break it in half.
  20. I have some leftover spaghetti.
  21. I’ll break this in half.
  22. I’m going to stir that and release up to a gentle boil cover it.
  23. I’m going to let a cook over medium heat for about ten minutes.
  24. I want to put in about a half a cup of water to see where the pasta drank that up.
  25. I’ve cooked this for twelve minutes.
  26. I have my heat off.
  27. I’m going to have a little more of that for your Parmesan cheese and just give a little extra cheese flavor.

  29. Give that a stir.

Cooking Tips and Serving Suggestions for Creamy Beef and Garlic Pasta

Cooking Tips

If I need to, I’ll add a little more water in it because that pasta is probably going to soak up most of that. For another quick beef meal, consider making tender garlic butter steak bites. So you can also use the dry parsley if you want to have fresh.

Serving Suggestions

I want to hand a garnish out with a little more fresh parsley. This dish pairs wonderfully with a side of easy parmesan garlic bread.

Easy One Pot Creamy Beef and Garlic Pasta

This one-pot creamy beef and garlic pasta is a quick, easy, and incredibly delicious meal. It’s cheesy, well-seasoned, and perfect for a comforting weeknight dinner.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream (see notes)
  • 1/2 cup water (for pasta, if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • 8-10 ounces dry pasta (linguini and/or spaghetti), broken in half
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for mixing in
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
  1. Brown 1 pound ground beef in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Drain off any excess grease and set the beef aside.
  2. Add 1 medium diced onion to the same pot and cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until the onion is translucent and softened.
  3. Stir in 4 cloves of minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the drained ground beef to the pot. Pour in 1/2 cup beef broth and stir to combine.
  5. Add 1 cup heavy cream. If you prefer a lighter sauce or want to extend the liquid, you can use 1/2 cup heavy cream and 1/2 cup water to make up the full cup of liquid.
  6. Maintain medium heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Mix everything well.
  7. Add 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese to the pot and stir until it’s melted and fully incorporated into the sauce.
  8. Add 8-10 ounces of dry pasta (such as broken linguini and spaghetti) to the pot. Stir to ensure the pasta is submerged in the liquid.
  9. Bring the pot to a gentle boil, then cover and reduce the heat to medium. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente and the sauce has thickened. If the sauce becomes too thick during cooking, add the additional 1/2 cup of water.
  10. Remove the pot from heat. Stir in fresh chopped parsley and a little more grated Parmesan cheese for extra cheesy flavor.
  11. Serve hot, garnished with additional fresh parsley if desired.
