Raspberry Sorbet Recipe

Here’s a super simple way to make raspberry sorbet. You only need a few ingredients for this refreshing treat.
Ingredients

- ○ 750 grams raspberries
- ○ 150 grams caster sugar
- ○ 2 tablespoons liquid glucose
- ○ ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Put the raspberries in a food processor and blend them until they’re completely liquid.
- Pass the liquefied raspberries through a fine sieve to get rid of all the pulp and seeds, leaving you with just the juice. This essential step is also crucial when making an easy homemade raspberry coulis recipe for any dessert.
- Pour about a quarter of the raspberry juice into a small saucepan. Add the 150 grams of caster sugar, two tablespoons of liquid glucose, and half a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Heat this mixture on a low setting. Stir it constantly until all the sugar has dissolved.

- Pour this warm sugar syrup back into the rest of the raspberry juice. Give it a good stir to combine everything.
- Transfer the mixture to a container and place it in the fridge for about one to two hours. This is important to chill it down properly before churning.
- Once chilled, pour the mixture into your ice cream machine. Churn it according to your machine’s instructions. Mine usually takes around 50 minutes.
- If you don’t have an ice cream machine: Pour the chilled mixture into a freezer-safe container. Put it in the freezer and stir it well with a fork every 30 minutes for about three to four hours, until it reaches a sorbet consistency.
- After churning or freezing, transfer the sorbet into a freezer-safe container and keep it in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy.
