Cooking Tips
Measure with your heart. This method works well for many dishes, including delicious air-fried chicken wings.
If you want more pepper, add a little bit more.
Now I don’t know exactly what paprika does, except for giving color.
It’s just like chicken.
This is probably the most season that you use in a recipe.
Well, it better be good as all I know.
You just need to get a big one.
I mean, I think we did a perfect amount on the thing.
Serving Suggestions
We can add some of it that, you know, we need extra on plate. This dish is great for a full meal, much like an easy one-pan ground beef and rice meal.
Then you could just put this on your plate.
I do agree it needs a little bit more parmish on garlic.
Just a little bit.
We should have just made a whole plate of potatoes.
I wonder if we could add it a little bit of milk at the bottom.
Add some extra garlic Parmesan.
I ain’t even ate it yet.
I’m sweating.
That garlic Parm is a little spicy.
So everybody have a good day. We’ll see you later, okay?
Bye y’all. Bye y’all.
Easy Cheesy Parmesan Garlic Chicken and Potato Skillet

This easy and delicious cheesy Parmesan garlic chicken and potato skillet is a perfect one-pan meal. It comes together quickly, taking only 30-35 minutes from start to finish, and is packed with savory flavors. Featuring tender chicken, crispy air-fried potatoes, and a rich, cheesy garlic Parmesan sauce, it’s a family-favorite comfort food that’s simple to make.
- 4 medium Yukon Gold or red potatoes, diced into bite-sized pieces, washed, and thoroughly dried
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (for potatoes)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (for potatoes)
- 1 teaspoon salt (for potatoes)
- 1 teaspoon paprika (for potatoes)
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders, diced into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (for chicken)
- 1 teaspoon paprika (for chicken)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (for chicken)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (for chicken)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (for chicken)
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (about 4-5 cloves)
- 1/4 cup Buffalo Parmesan garlic sauce or seasoning blend (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese or Italian cheese blend
- 2 tablespoons milk (optional, for thinner sauce)
- 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (optional, for richer sauce)
- 1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- 2. In a large bowl, combine the diced, washed, and dried potatoes with olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon paprika. Toss until potatoes are evenly coated.
- 3. Transfer the seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 25 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping. (Cook in batches if necessary).
- 4. While the potatoes are air frying, dice the chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a separate bowl, season the chicken with 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper.
- 5. Approximately 12-13 minutes into the potato air frying time (when the air fryer has about 12 minutes remaining), heat 2 tablespoons butter in a large oven-safe skillet over high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 13 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- 6. Reduce the skillet heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons minced garlic and the Buffalo Parmesan garlic sauce (or seasoning blend) to the chicken. Stir well and let simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. If desired, stir in the optional milk or heavy whipping cream for a richer or thinner sauce consistency.
- 7. Once the potatoes are done, carefully add them directly into the skillet with the chicken mixture. Stir everything together until well combined.
- 8. Evenly spread the chicken and potato mixture in the skillet. Sprinkle the shredded Parmesan cheese generously over the top.
- 9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven (or place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, watching closely) and cook for 5-8 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted, bubbly, and slightly golden.
- 10. Remove the skillet from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Serve hot and enjoy!
